On Wednesday 12 May our residents at Bromley Park Care Home had a festive day celebrating all things Italian, as we enjoyed our Around the World with Nellsar Cruise.
We decorated our Home with balloons and Italian flag bunting, and Bola and Dawn created a lovely themed table display for everyone to enjoy. We even had our very own pizza mascot, in the form of Donna!
We served lots of Italian treats for the tastebuds including pizza, red wine and Prosecco, among other delicacies.
The day was enjoyed by residents and staff alike. Bellissimo!
Pampering and relaxation
Last week our residents also enjoyed some pampering, with hairdressing and nail painting on offer, which is always popular! Esmeralda really enjoyed her having her hair braided by Dawn and Jean loves her new pink hair colour.
Our ladies and gents spent time reading and sharing time with our Care staff, with lots of chat, smiles and laughter.
Birthday wishes
Our lovely resident Marcus celebrated his 77th birthday with us recently and was delighted to be presented with a beautiful birthday cake decorated with fruit and cream, made by own Chef Sanoj.
