Bromley Park Care Home residents enjoy an outing to Kelsey Park

Our Bromley Park Care Home residents Tony, Stavroulla and Edna enjoyed a trip out to Kelsey Park last week. The sun was shining bright and it was a very warm autumn day, so they decided to make the most of the weather.

Kelsey Park is in Beckenham and historically formed the landscaped park of the Kelsey Manor Estate, with the river Beck running through it.

Our residents loved seeing all kinds of flora and fauna, with many different kinds of trees to spot, as well as many species of birds. They saw a huge variety of flowers in the spectacular herbaceous border, and a vast array of wildlife.

The group fed the Canadian geese, ducks and the squirrels, stopping at the Kelsey Park Cafe for tea, coffee, muffins and even ice cream!

It was a fantastic day out, enjoyed by them all. We will definitely be returning to Kelsey Park soon!
