At Bromley Park Care Home we celebrated Christmas Day with a wonderful roast beef and turkey lunch with potatoes and parsnips, along with Brussel sprouts and delicious gravy.
Our table was spread with wonderful festive sweet treats too, included panettone cake, mini Christmas and chocolate sponge puddings with custard, a festive chocolate Yule log and stollen cake.
There were also various drinks on offer, from bubbles to Baileys, which everyone enjoyed.
Elenor, who is a regular entertainer at our Home, took time out on Christmas Day to entertain our residents and staff with Christmas carols, accompanied by her guitar.
Staff joined in and everyone had a lovely singalong – the atmosphere was amazing. A local church choir also entertained our residents with Christmas carols and it was thoroughly enjoyed by everybody.
In the afternoon, our ladies and gents were presented with their gifts and there was lots of excitement and appreciation for all the effort our staff had made to ensure everyone had a fantastic Christmas Day, with lots of Christmas cheer and smiles all around!
