Well, what can we say? Our talented Brazilian Chef Ellen put on a fantastic display of the finest barbecue food here at Bromley Park Care Home on Thursday 22 July, as the sun shone in our garden.
Ellen was truly on fine form with lots of tasty Brazilian treats, an incredible spread enjoyed by all our residents and staff.
The delicious menu consisted of;
- Beef steak kebabs
- Vegetarian kebabs
- Brazilian sausages
- Seared coalho cheese
- Roasted pineapple and Farofa (a traditional Brazilian side dish made with toasted yuca flour or cassava flour)
- Vinaigrette salad
The smell of the meat searing on the barbecue was incredible; Eily, Kath and Dorothy all admired the cooking from a distance.
Ellen even created a special puréed barbecue selection for our residents who require different textured diets.
