To celebrate Elf Day here at Bromley Park Care Home, we went all out with Christmas spirit and created our very own Elves on the Shelves Hall of Fame! Our wonderful residents – always ready for fun and festive mischief – were transformed into cheerful Christmas elves (with their images artistically enhanced by AI) for a creative photo project that has filled our Home with laughter and joy.
Each of our residents now has their very own elf portrait proudly displayed on the shelf in our main lounge, bringing a touch of magic to everyone who visits. They are so proud of their ‘elf-selves’ – and rightly so; it’s been so heartwarming to watch residents proudly point themselves out in our line-up of festive faces!
These delightful images have been a huge hit with both our residents and families, and we’re now turning these adorable elf portraits into personalised Christmas cards to share with their loved ones. Our relatives have really enjoyed seeing their loved ones, with many even asking for copies to use on their own Christmas cards! Seeing how much our residents enjoyed being part of this creative project has been the best gift of all.
Christmas is such a special time of year, and our residents deserve to feel every bit of its magic. We love creating moments that make them feel celebrated and cherished. And while elves on shelves are usually known for getting up to mischief, ours are full of kindness, warmth and Christmas joy – brightening our Home every day, especially during the festive season.
