Last year, together with St Christopher’s Hospice, Bromley Park Care Centre took part in filming a new documentary ‘Love Is Listening: Dementia Without Loneliness’, which was produced in collaboration with Dementia specialist Michael Verde and world-renowned solo percussionist, Dame Evelyn Glennie.
The film provides a valuable insight into how we might rebuild links with those seemingly lost to us through Dementia.
Film screening
This November, Michael Verde will be working with St Christopher’s to change societal attitudes towards people with Dementia and a special screening of the film is taking place at the Hospice on Wednesday 5 December from 1:45-3:45pm.
Open to all, the screening is free and will be followed by refreshments.
