Despite the recent sweltering heat, staff, residents and their families had a fabulous time at the Bromley Park Care Home summer garden party last week.
On arrival, friends and relatives were welcomed with colourful flower garland necklaces which residents and staff we all wearing as well. The garden was decorated with colourful balloons and decorations, and everyone mentioned how beautiful it looked.
Our wonderful Catering team made lovely snacks and sandwiches with cold drinks and punch for everyone to enjoy, and we had a lovely ice-cream van to boot!
Anna and Dan entertained us with residents’ favourite songs and they even sang songs on request. There was even a special kids’ area where they could splash in the a little pool to cool down. The children had lots of fun!
Despite the heat and humidity, residents, staff, family and friends all joined in dancing and the atmosphere was joyful! There was lots of laughter, smiles and sing-a-longs.
