Here at Bromley Park Care Home we held our own memorial service to commemorate her Majesty the Queen with our residents and staff, whilst her funeral service was being broadcast on television.
We laid a special table with stunning photos of the Queen, some colourful fresh flowers and a delicious afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches, including our best china tea service which we know she would have approved of!
It was a beautiful service and we all appreciated being able to say goodbye to our monarch.
