Well done to our residents and staff who created a fantastic rainbow-layered sponge Showstopper Cake for The Great Nellsar Cake Off competition. The delicious cake was covered in rainbow sprinkles and sweets, with a rainbow surprise inside too!
Our Chef Ellen, commented;
“We chose this cake for the competition for one reason: ‘Diversity’. In support of all the Nurses and Carers who look after our residents, we decided to bake a rainbow cake. The diversity within our Home is summed up by a rainbow. We are really proud to participate in this event.”
We will receive a special gift for entering the competition. Well done everyone!
