Garden Centre outing
We took another trip out to Polhill Garden Centre this week with two of our Bromley Park Care Home residents, plus family members.
We enjoyed the Christmas decorations and later relaxed with a cup of tea and cake; thank you to team members Colin and Douglas for supporting with the trip.
Karaoke fun
Some of our residents and relatives really enjoyed a karaoke afternoon we hosted at our Home. There was lots of singing and dancing and one of our residents took to the mic with his daughter-in-law to do a duet, which was lovely to see.
Pet Therapy
We’ve also enjoyed a visit from Speedy the tortoise this week. Sam our Activity Coordinator brings her in regularly to visit our residents, who love spending time with her.
Our jigsaws have also been in full swing this week – it’s always super to see such concentration!
