Today at Bromley Park Care Home we celebrated the end of our Around the World with Nellsar Cruises with a British summer tea party in our garden.
The tea party was set up outside under our pergola with flowers and British flags, with a delicious spread of Battenberg cakes, cupcakes, pork pies, pork sausages, sausage rolls and scotch eggs.
The tea was served in our residents’ much loved tea set which made the perfect centrepiece for such a sunny celebration.
We played music by Nat King Cole, Otis Reading, Vera Lynn, Elvis Presley and The Supremes to name a few.
The day was thoroughly enjoyed by our residents as the sun shone brightly for us all!
