Last week, Nicola and Crystal from our Recreation and Well-Being team joined residents Christine and Stephen from Bromley Park Care Home for an outing to Beckenham Place Park.
Beckenham Place Park is Lewisham’s largest green space, extending over 237 acres and including a wide range of facilities, including a sensory garden. The Palladian-style mansion that gave the park its name now serves as a community centre and cafe.
The group really enjoyed a walk in the park, taking in the fresh air under blue skies. This was followed by a cafe stop for coffee and pastries, which went down a treat!
