Bromley Park Care Home residents have fun making dreamcatchers

On Monday 10 April, some of our Bromley Park Care Home residents spent the morning crafting dreamcatchers using cut out paper plates, wool and feathers.

Dreamcatchers are a vital part of the Native American tribes. A dreamcatcher has different components – the hoop represents the continuous flow of life, the web mimics the spider’s web and is the dream filter which blocks nightmares. Good dreams are passed down through the feathers.

Rita enjoyed seeing the web of the dreamcatcher take shape and attaching her colourful feather decorations.

We think they look beautiful!
