Our residents here at Bromley Park Care Home recently received Christmas cards from the Bromley children’s project and they were all so thankful. One of our residents said how lovely and creative the children were in creating the cards.
On Christmas eve, Rita and other residents enjoyed an afternoon tea with mince pies.
On Christmas day, all our residents received their gifts from Santa’s helpers with lots of laughter and smiles, and some of our residents had a visit from their loved ones.
Our gentleman Colin received a lovely gift from his family – he was so pleased and recognised himself as a small boy with his parents.
Everyone devoured their delicious Christmas Dinner and later enjoyed singing some Christmas carols followed by a Church service. Our residents were very happy to receive a Christmas gift from the church too.
One of our family members who joined us for Christmas dinner said that the food was amazing and they were so thankful to Bromley Park for making the big day special.
