We’ve had another busy week here at Bromley Park Care Home, as you can see from all our lovely photos!
Gardening Club
Some of our residents took part in a Gardening Club which was wonderful to see now that the weather is trying to improve. We sowed some seeds ready for the summer to plant in our garden. We are all looking forward to spending time outside in the spring and summertime.
Birthday wishes
We also had a birthday celebration for one of our gents. Our Chef made him a delicious birthday cake and his family said how much they enjoyed it.
Creative clubs
During the week, a group of our ladies took part in a Knit and Natter and baking group, when they were able to show off their creative skills and enjoy a good time socialising with each other.
Mother’s Day
On Mothering Sunday our mums enjoyed visits from their children and received lovely gifts – from flower to chocolates. We also did some flower arranging in the morning, so our Home looked like a florist with all the pretty blooms!
In the afternoon we continued our Mother’s Day celebrations with live music from talented performer Anna and delicious party food to enjoy. Everyone had a fantastic time celebrating the special day.
Choir performance
Continuing the musical theme, on Monday 11 March we welcomed our lovely local choir in to sing for our ladies and gents. It’s always so beautiful to hear their voices fill our Home and we all enjoyed listening to the songs and harmonies.
