Here at Bromley Park Care Home we hosted a coffee morning in support of people living with cancer on Friday 24 September.
We created a beautiful display of flowers, balloons, bunting, delicious cakes and our best china to make the occasion extra special.
The money we raised on the day will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support to reach and improve the lives of everyone affected by cancer and inspire millions to do the same.
We explained to our residents with brochures and posters what the coffee morning was in aid of, and when we offered them the cake and sweet treats some residents said that it certainly was for a good cause.
We hope to host a few more of these coffee mornings as it was such a success!
