In preparation for our Winter Menu, we held a meeting with our residents to discuss the types of food they would like included here at Bromley Park Care Home.
We had some great feedback from our ladies and gents:
- Kath requested chicken and peppers.
- Rita wanted to try something with rice.
- George said the food is lovely but he would like more beef.
- Brenda commented that she would like shepherd’s pie.
- Susan suggested rock and chips as something to include.
Our Chefs developed a Taster Menu and we gathered everyone to try it out. Our residents enjoyed tasting shepherd’s pie, beef stroganoff, sausage casserole, special rice, chicken with bell peppers, and salmon and roasted vegetables in butter sauce. A special steak and chips was also prepared. A real feast!
Our residents really enjoyed the new dishes and we look forward to seeing them on our Winter Menu soon.
