We arranged a trip out to Polhill Garden Centre on Wednesday 15 November and our Bromley Park Care Home residents were very excited to see all the fantastic Christmas decorations on display, and to select some for our tree.
We relaxed for a while with a cup of tea and cake and one of our residents met up with his son and daughter-in-law and was so please to see them.
Our residents enjoyed telling stories of when they used to bring their children to Polhill years ago; they also said it has changed a lot since then.
One of our ladies bought a new colouring book for her friend and she was so happy to give it to her once we returned home.
