New Menu Taster Day at Bromley Park Care Home

On Friday 19 May we held our New Menu Taster Day at Bromley Park Care Home and following a resident meeting and feedback from everyone, we introduced some new dishes.

Chefs Rijo and Trevor were supported by Sinto and Justin to help create the wonderful dishes for our residents to taste – and Colin, Loretta, Rita, Jean, William, Brenda, Tony, Dorothy, Michael and Ellen were all keen to try them out!

Our ladies and gents were hoping for more salmon on the menu and our Chefs introduced Russian Fish Pie (‘Salmon Coulibiac‘) which consisted of salmon, rice, eggs, mushrooms, onions and dill in a puff pastry shell, served with a dill sauce. Delicious!

Other tasty options served on the day included Sausage Plait served with a tomato and basil sauce and Honey and Mustard Lamb.

Our residents all enjoyed their main courses and were looking forward to our new desserts; Blueberry Frangipane Tart served with custard, and Pear and Chocolate Tart served with chocolate custard. Both a big hit!

The feedback was brilliant and we look forward to seeing these wonderful new dishes on the new menu.
